METHODS TO BE ADOPTED FOR REMOVING DHIRISTI IN THE SHIVA TEMPLES:
1. Select the Day that comes with Ashtami thithi. The Ashtama thiti comes on the 8th day from the Amavasya days (Full Moon day) or the Poorima days (New Moon day).
The Best day for Pariharam would be the Ashtmai Thithi coming in the descending period of Moon, which is called as the Descending Ashtami Thithi (8th Day from the Poornima Day). But even the Ascending Ashtama Thithi is also considered as best.
2. Ask all your family members to assemble in the Main Hall and stand in the direction of the East.
3. Take a Coconut and Red chillies (Long) along with required quantity of Gingelly oil or Coconut oil and go to every room of your house and just rotate it three times in the clock-wise direction and three times in the anti-clock wise direction.
4. Come to the Main hall, now rotate the Coconut & Long Red Chillies along the oil both three time in the clock-wise and also in the anti-clock wise direction and ask all the family members to go into any of the rooms without looking back at you. The family members must wash their feets, hands and their face, before they sit within their house.
5. Now you must stand before the main door of the house and rotate it three times in the clock-wise direction and three times in the anti-clock wise direction.
5. You must do it for you also. Then you must take the Coconut and Long Red Chillies along with the Oil to any nearby Lord Shiva temple. The important condition is that the Coconut, Red Long Chillies and the Oil should not be placed in the ground or inside a vehicle, while you travel. You must carry it all along by yourself either in your hand or in a bag.
6. After entering the temple, you must cut open the Coconut into 2 halves. Drain out the coconut water from the Coconut and dry it out. You must apply turmeric powder on the outer portion of the Coconut.. Allow it for dry sometime.
7. Then, you must pour Gingelly oil (sesame oil) or Coconut oil into the inner portion of the Coconut. You must dip the Long Red chilli into the oil. Thus the two halves of Coconut looks like two big lamps.
8. Pray to the Lord Bhairavar to burn out the bad Dhiristi (Evil Eye Syndrome) from your entire family. Light up the lamp on both the halves of the Coconut using the Long Red Chilli as the wick. Place the Coconut (both the halves) converted into two oil lamps inside the temple.
Lord Bhairavar: Please note that the Lord Shiva has assigned the security of the temple to the Lord Bhairavar. Thus, in every temples, they keep all the keys and do Pujas before the Lord Bhairavar; and close the Temple thereafter. Again they place all the keys before Lord Bhairavar in the next morning and do Pujas on the start of the next day.
The Legend is that the Lord Bhairavar would take over the security of the temple and becomes very active and aggresive in the night. The Lord Bhairavar would keep all the evil forces at bay and shows no mercy to them. Hence all the evil forces would run away from the areas, where there is a presence of Lord Bhairavar.
9. Go to the wash place inside the temple. Clean your hand, feet and face with clean water. Sprinkle the water over your head (three times) too.
10. Then do the normal Puja to the Lord Shiva and Lord Bhairavar. Take the Prasadams (given to you inside the temple) and return back to your house.
11. The good days for doing the Dhiristi Pariharam in the Lord Shiva temple is on Sundays and Mondays and also on the day that comes with Ashtama Thithi
12. This process must be repeated on a monthly basis. You can stop this process or can reduce the interval periods, once you feel relaxed and get necessary indications that your persistent problems like stagnation or slower growth or hurdles have been eliminated or reduced in a significant manner.
Days to avoid doing these Pariharams:
1.. The important condition is that these procedures must be done, when only all the members of the family are bodily clean and should not take any non-vegetarian foods on those particular days.
2. The process must not be done, when you are unclean due to sexual acts; and also during the menstrual period of the females.
3. You should not do these Dhiristi Pariharam, when any of your family members are going out of the town @ short or long travel.
4. You must not do it, if you had attended any inauspicious events on the particular day.
