The Pariharam for the Rahu can be done in the Shiva temples in the following methods.
1. You can put some Black Gram Dhall (whole) into a black cloth; tie it with black thread; keep it in your packet for the whole day on Tuesdays (or) Saturdays (or) Sundays.
2. Go to the temple; light up ghee or gingelly oil (sesame seed oil) lamps with Black cloth filled with black gram dhall (whole).
3. Offer Black cotton cloth to the Rahu or Silk Dhoti (Pattu) cloth to Lord Shiva and do puja in your name.
4. Do puja in your name by prescribing your nakshatra and rasi during the Rahu Kalam on Tuesday/Saturdays/Sundays
5. Offer dishes prepared with Black gram dhall (Ulundu in Tamil/ Orid dhall in Hindi) to the Rahu and distribute the prasadam to the devotees present in the temple.
6. Chant the Rahu Gayatri and Moola mantras by 9/27/81/108 times. The more you chant, the more you gain.
8. Do Abhisekam for the Rahu or Lord Shiva during the Rahu Kalam on the designated days.
Note:
1. You can do any one of these pariharam or any number of combinations of these pariharams.
2. Invite others also to join with you, while doing pariharam.
3. No alcohol, eggs, non vegetarian foods, sexual thoughts and inter courses, use of harsh and filthy languages (applicable from the Parihara day morning to the next day morning @ sunrise on the Parihara day to the next day's sunrise). If these are violated, then the pariharam would not deliver any results.
4. Both you are body and mind should be clean.
5. Fasting on these days would be of immense help.
6. Must avoid fast foods that induces your mind into wordly pleasures.
7. You must also wear Black color or shaded dresses.
Note: By chanting 108 times of Mantra in a week, a person will roughly chant (52 weeks x 108 times) = 5616 times. Thus within 2 years, a person would have chanted nearly 11,000 time of Mantra. This will bring faclitate the particular Graha to work for you in seamless manner.
