The Pariharam for the Shani (Saturn) can be done in the Shiva temples in the following methods.
1. You can put some black gingelly seeds into a black cloth; tie it with black thread; keep it in your packet for the whole day on Saturdays.
2. Go to the temple; light up ghee or gingelly oil (sesame seed oil) lamps with Black cloth filled with black gingelly seeds.
3. Offer Black or Dark Blue cotton cloth to the Shani or Silk Dhoti (Pattu) cloth to Lord Shiva and do puja in your name.
4. Do puja in your name by prescribing your nakshatra and rasi.
5. Offer dishes prepared with gingelly seeds to the Shani and distribute the prasadam to the devotees present in the temple.
6. Chant the Shani Gayatri and Moola mantras by 9/27/81/108 times. The more you chant that you gain more.
8. Do Abhisekam for the Shani or Lord Yama or Lord Shiva on the designated days.

2. Invite others also to join with you, while doing pariharam.
3. No alcohol, eggs, non vegetarian foods, sexual thoughts and inter courses, use of harsh and filthy languages (applicable from Saturday early morning to Sunday early morning @ Saturday sunrise to Sunday sunrise). If these are violated, then the pariharam would not deliver any results.
4. Both you are body and mind should be clean.
5. Fasting on these days would be of immense help.
6. Must avoid fast foods that induces your mind into wordly pleasures.
7. You must also wear Blue/Black or shaded color dresses.
1. Sit in your Pooja room.
2. Offer Blue color flower to the Gods.
3. Place a vessel (Possibly a tumbler made of Silver or Bronze or Copper) filled with water up to the rim.
4. Light up lamps with Ghee/Gingelly oil.
5. Start with worship of Lord Ganesha.
6. Worship other Gods.
7. Worship the Shani by chanting 9/27/81/108 times by the above mentioned mantras. Finish your worship. The more you chant then more you gain.
8. You can also make dishes out of Black Gingelly seeds (கருப்பு எள்) and offer it to the God.
9. Distribute the prasadams to others, cows and crows.
Note: By chanting 108 times of Mantra in a week, a person will roughly chant (52 weeks x 108 times) = 5616 times. Thus within 2 years, a person would have chanted nearly 11,000 time of Mantra. This will bring faclitate the particular Graha to work for you in seamless manner.
