1. Moon staying in 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th house from the lagna (Rising sign) and also from their own Moon Rasi.

2. Moon getting debilitated in Scorpio sign (Viruchika rasi).

3. Moon transiting the Sun within 12 degress of the Sun's position makes the Moon non-functional. (Those who are born during the "Amavasya Periods").
