ROLES OF NAVAGRAHAS

Many people think that the Grahas (Planets) are actually the source of troubles in our life. They also go to the extent of pacifying these Grahas (Planets) and believe that their problems get resolved once they do Pariharam for these Grahas (Planets).

But the truth is that these Grahas (Planets) would actually mirror our virtues and sins that are committed by us during our lifetime and also in our past life periods. Please understand that these Navagarahas are only Sub-lords and they can not be and should not be equated with Lord Shiva. It is a sin to treat these Navagrahas equal to Lord Shiva or any other God.

These Navagrahas are servants and obey the diktat of the Lord Shiva only. They do not wield any real power. They actually give indications to us, where the trouble lies through our Natal horoscopes. Thus we need to focus our mind mainly on Lord Shiva.

We can also worship the Navagrahas and do puja and pariharam for them too. But we should remember that our main focus should be on worshipping the Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvathi and all other Gods.We would see the Roles of Navagrahas in the future too.

DO'S AND DONT'S IN WORSHIPING NAVAGRAHAS

Readers must be aware of things to be done and the things not to be done, while doing Pariharam or worshiping the Navagrahas. DO'S 1. Do the Pariharam on the designated days, time and horas; as this would bring tremendous results. 2. Fasting is advisable but not compulsory. But the restriction on the intake of foods (that instigate the mind) should be maintained. 3. Pariharam and sexual thoughts and actions does not travel in a parallel manner. Hence avoid the Pariharam on the day, if you had done any sexual acts after the Sunrise. 4. Offer anything (flowers/lighting a lamp/cloth and so on) to the Navagrahas that is possible within your economical limits. 5. Distribute prasadam that are offered to Navagarahas to everyone, if you had done puja for removing the doshas. 6.
