DHIRISTI PARIHARAM: PUJAS IN THE LORD GANESHA TEMPLE

METHODS TO BE ADOPTED IN THE TEMPLES TO ELIMINATE DHIRISTI:

1. Ask all your family members to assemble in the Main Hall and stand in the direction of the East.

2. Take a coconut and go to every room of your house and just rotate it three times in the clock-wise direction and three times in the anti-clock wise direction.

3. Come to the Main hall, now rotate the coconut both three time in the clock-wise and also in the anti-clock wise direction and ask all the family members to go into any of the rooms without looking back at you. The family members must wash their feets, hands and their face, before they sit within their house.

4. Now you must stand before the main door of the house and rotate it three times in the clock-wise direction and three times in the anti-clock wise direction.

5. You must do it for you also. Then you must take the coconut to the nearby Lord Ganesha temple. The important condition is that the coconut should not be placed in the ground or inside a vehicle, while you travel. You must carry it all along by yourself either in your hand or in a bag.

6. You must force break the coconut before the Lord Ganesha temple and must return back to your house.

7. You must wash your hands, feets and face with clean water, once you enter the house. You must again go to the Lord Ganesha temple and must do normal Puja or worship at the Lord Ganesha temple.

8. This process must be repeated atleast once in a week or even on daily basis, depending on the ground situation. You can stop this process or can reduce the interval periods, once you feel relaxed and get necessary indications that your persistent problems like stagnation or slower growth or hurdles have been eliminated or reduced in a significant manner.

Days to avoid doing these Pariharams:

1.. The important condition is that these procedures must be done, when only all the members of the family are bodily clean and should not take any non-vegetarian foods on those particular days.

2. The process must not be done, when you are unclean due to sexual acts; and also during the menstrual period of the females.

3. You should not do these Dhiristi Pariharam, when any of your family members are going out of the town @ short or long travel.

4. You must not do it, if you had attended any inauspicious events on the particular day.
